Very Small Aperture Terminal

VSAT - Short for Very Small Aperture Terminal, VSATs are earthbound stations used in satellite communication of IP, data, voice, VoIP and video signals.

SCPC

Single Channel Per Carrier

SCPC is used for interconnecting two points allowing you to transfer IP, data, digital voice, and digital video.

In an SCPC system, the customer connects two points to designated areas without the need for local infrastructure.

DVB-IP - IP via Digital Video Broadcast

DVB-IP Point to Multipoint Rx only or Rx/Tx

GlobalSource Communication’s DVB-IP point to multipoint service is intended for companies with multiple POPs, providing access not only to their main hub, but also to their remote access locations. This service is designed to eliminate expensive and unreliable inter-city fiber links, providing instead direct satellite access, in a 'single hop', between the Internet backbone and very remote stations.

GlobalSource DVB-IP technology, for downlink (Receive) links, enables customers to maximize their throughput on dedicated space segment, enhancing with dynamic bandwidth allocation and load balancing between numerous POPs.
